Laser Hair
Removal
Laser Hair Removal is
performed with the Cutera Xeo system which can be used on the
lightest to darkest skin types (Skin Type I-VI).

Q. Can tan skin
be worked on?
A. Yes, only if there is no red undertone to the skin or if the
person has not tanned in a tanning bed.
Q. How many treatments does it take?
A. The number of treatments varies with the hair cycle, body part
being treated and ethnicity of the client.
Q. Is hair removal painful?
A. If the hair is in the growth cycle (anagen phase) the treatment
will be effective and there is some discomfort, however, measures are
taken to help minimize this discomfort.

Rejuvenation
Photo Rejuvenation is the
correction of brown spots (sunspots), uneven skin tones, red
vessels, Rosacea and fine wrinkles using the Cutera Limelight hand
piece (an IPL).

Q. If tanned,
can the treatment be done?
A. No, after sun exposure a person will need to wait 3-4 weeks to
have this treatment.
Q. If I am a skin type V or VI (dark skin) person, can I have this
treatment?
A. Treatments with the use of an IPL hand piece are not recommended
for the darker skinned person.
Q. Is there down time after this treatment?
A. There is no down time after this treatment.
Laser
Genesis
Laser Genesis is the
stimulation of collagen production by using a 1064nm Nd YAG hand
piece. This treatment will also reduce and/or eliminate pore size,
diffused redness (Rosacea), control acne breakouts, improve acne
scarring, improve surgical scars and reduce fine wrinkles.

Q. Does this treatment give
down time?
A. There is absolutely no down time?
Q. Does this treatment hurt?
A. Most clients fall asleep during this treatment.
Q. Will I be red?
A. The redness post treatment will only last a short time (about 1
hour
if any).
Microcurrent
Microcurrent is a
painless muscle toning treatment that increases collagen production
by 14% and elastin production by 48%. It helps eliminate toxins and
puffy eyes. Gives an “instant facelift” and makes the face looked
refreshed. This is the treatment you want when you have that
important event and you want to look your best!
Q. Is this treatment painful?
A. This treatment is one of the most comfortable ones on the service
menu.
Q. Is there any downtime?
A. You look absolutely beautiful when you’re done. You will want to
go somewhere special afterwards.
Q. How often can this treatment be done?
A. It can be done weekly however the results will last for a month.
Chemical
Peel
A chemical peel is the
use of various medical grade solutions to help exfoliate the dead
skin cells from the epidermis (top layer of skin). This treatment
helps control acne breakouts, reduce oil production, reduce the size
of enlarged pores and reduce the size of fine lines (wrinkles). This
is a great treatment for clients with Rosacea, sun damage and acne
skin conditions.
Q. Does this treatment hurt?
A. When the peel solution is applied some clients will experience
some tingling, warm or itching sensation - everyone is different.
Q. Is there any downtime?
A. Usually not, unless the client is having one of the deeper peels.
Q. With the deeper peel, how much down time is there?
A. For most clients there can be a downtime (flaking which looks
like dry skin) for 3-5 days.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is the
exfoliation of the epidermis (top layer of skin) using a
microdermabrasion machine.
Q. What type of crystal do you
use?
A. While microdermabrasion can be done using aluminum oxide, sodium
bicarbonate, sodium chloride or a diamond tip; here at Simple Skin
Solutions, we use a diamond tip probe for better and safer
exfoliation.
Q. Is there any downtime?
A. No downtime - your face will feel and look fresh!
Q. If I have Rosacea, can I have this treatment?
A. Microdermabrasion is not recommended for Rosacea clients.
Facials
Facials are customized to
correct or control the following conditions:
Rosacea, acne, oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin, sun damage or
aging skin.
Q. Will I breakout after my
facial?
A. 99.9% of our clients report no breakouts after their facial.
Q. I have asthma. Can I have a facial?
A. Yes, no steam or harsh chemicals are used with our facials.
Q. Will I be red after my facial?
A. No, our facials clam the skin thereby improving or eliminating
any redness a client might come in with.
Botox ® /
Dysport®
Botox ® / Dysport® are FDA approved to eliminate/correct wrinkles
that form the "elevens" between the eye brow area.
Q. How long does the effects
of these agents last?
A. The first application will usually last for 3 months.
Q. How does do they differ from filler?
A. Filler is used in an area where there is loss of volume.
Q. Is Botox®/Dysport® the only thing I can do to correct my
wrinkles.
A. No, there are other options however these agents do help with
wrinkles.
Fillers Juvéderm®
/ Restylane®
Q. Will I bruise?
A. Some clients do experience some level of bruising while other
clients do not. Planning ahead is recommended.
Q. How many syringes will I use?
A. That will be determined at the time of the consult, everyone is
different.
Q. Does it hurt?
A. Most of my clients have stated that it is not uncomfortable.
